Ravi Lamichhane is a well-known Nepalese journalist and television presenter. He was born on 16th February 1980 in a small village called Ramche in the Dhading distr

ict of Nepal. His father, Ratna Prasad Lamichhane, was a school teacher, and his mother, Rama Devi Lamichhane, was a housewife. Ravi grew up in a middle-class family and had a keen interest in journalism since his childhood.

Education:

Ravi completed his schooling in his hometown and later moved to Kathmandu to pursue higher education. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Arts from Tri-Chandra College in Kathmandu. After that, he obtained a Master's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Tribhuvan University.

Career:

Ravi started his career as a journalist with the Nepali newspaper 'Naya Patrika.' He then worked with various other Nepalese newspapers like 'Kantipur Daily,' 'The Himalayan Times,' and 'Nagarik Daily.' In 2007, he joined Nepal Television as a news anchor and later started hosting a popular talk show called 'Sidha Kura Janata Sanga' (Straight Talk with the People).

The show became very popular among the Nepalese people because of its unique concept of providing a platform for the common people to speak up about their issues and concerns. Ravi became a household name in Nepal because of his hard-hitting questions and fearless reporting.
